Radars Devices

TheStack training requires a radar that can measure swing speed without ball impact.  Not all radar devices have this capability.

MLM2PRO, MLM

Rapsodo

The MLM™ captures non-impact swings with TheStack from within Rapsodo's MLM app using the R-Speed feature.  You will need two devices to use the MLM while speed training with TheStack.  You will need an iOS device to use with TheStack app and a second iOS device to run the MLM2PRO™ app.

The Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor (MLM) pairs doppler-radar technology with your iPhone or iPad camera to provide instant video replay, active shot tracer, as well as several key performance metrics such as distance, club speed, ball speed, launch angle, launch direction, and smash factor.

Trackman4 (TPS)

Trackman

As of March '24, Trackman has now added Swing Training Mode for Trackman 4.  Trackman users will need to update to Firmware 2.7.0 or newer and use TPS 9.4 or newer to access this feature.  You will need two devices to Stack with Trackman - an iOS device to use with TheStack app and a second device to run TPS.  See more details from Trackman here

SC200 Plus

Swing Caddie

If you hit your driver 275 yards or less (driver swing speed < 100 mph), the Swing Caddie SC200 Plus makes for a seamless Stack training experience.  The Voice Output from the Swing Caddie will speak your Stack training speed, and TheStack App will listen for it using our Voice Entry technology so your data is read in seamless while you get the audible feedback while training. The SC200 Plus+ doubles as a portable launch monitor that measures swing speed, ball speed, and estimated carry distance.

*note: The SC200 and SC300 can not capture training swings. We are currently evaluating the SC4 and SC300i for training swing capability with TheStack

G80

Garmin

The Garmin Approach G80 is a unique product that is both a radar and GPS device in one.  As of March 2021 you can update your software to Version 3.30, or newer, using Garmin Express and be able to track training swings.

Note: The Garmin R10 is not capable or tracking non-impact swings at this time, but may be capable in the future. .

GST-5, GST-7 BLE

Yupiteru

The Yupiteru GST-5 W and GST-7BLE are Japan products that report speed in Meters / Second and allow training swings with TheStack.  TheStack App can be configured to dictate or enter your speed in M/S and record speed in MPH, so we are now compatible with the Yupiteru products.  You can purchase the Yupiteru GST-5

Swing Speed Radar (SSR)

Sports Sensors

The Swing Speed Radar®by Sports Sensors is a radar that measures club-head speed only and gets the job done.  If you already have a Sports Sensors radar, you're all set to start with TheStack. For best results with your training, we recommend to upgrade to another speed device.

X3 (Current Model), X2 Elite, X, Xi Tour

FlightScope

Flightscope's X3, X2 Elite, X, and Xi Tour not only provides full down range flight tracking, but they also support non-impact training with Swing Training mode.  TheStack App (iOS) now connects directly to the Mevo+ for the most seamless training experience

At TheStack System, we analyze nearly all radar devices that track training swings and TheStack App factors out any bias, or systematic error, in speed measurements that are associated with our hardware design.  What does this mean to you?  If your radar measures with a bias, our smart algorithms adjust for it and accurately calculate your eSpeed and Distance Potential regardless of which device you are using.

This page will always be up to date with radars that can capture non-impact swings.
